5.4 question
Im looking to buy a Super Duty f-250 with a 5.4 motor...Im going with a gas motor because of the bad experiences with my 2005 f-250 6.0 money pit.
What are some of the known problems if any with this motor and what should I watch out for ?

I'll assume you are going with a '05+ 3V. From '05-'08 there are spark plug issues with them seizing and breaking in half when removed, also some cam issues at least in the first year or two. Plugs can be addressed by having them changed at the owners expense and the new design being used. Cam problem makes a pretty good racket when the engine is running. Middle to late '08+ are pretty much bullet proof as far as I know.
