Repairing Inflatable Lumbar Support

Anyone out there ever repair or patch the inflatable lumbar support that comes with the EB package?

I've evidently got a not-so-slow leak in my driver's-side support and I'm just wondering if I can get in there and use something like a bike tire patch to fix it.

I really don't want to take the seat cover off if I can't fix the support. The Bronco is a 95 and I'm not sure I can take the cover off without damaging the leather.

Any tips/pointers?

i can tell you how to take the leather out if that helps

1 take the seat out
2 turn the seat over
3 if you look on the underside of the seat you will see two tracks. in these tracks there are two bolts (1 per track) im not sure of the size though. you may need to pull the lever that makes the seat fold forward in order to expose the bolts.
4 once removed you need to pry off the 4 plastic peices that hold the leather on they are on the back of the seat and on the two sides. they are kind of hard to explain but once you look at it you will know what im talking about. once those are remmoved the leather and the cusion should come off. the leather is held on to the cusion with velcro so just pull it off.

Well crud, now I feel less special.

Sounds like I may be able to take off the covers with less trouble than I thought. My concern was the age of the leather. Does that make any difference in its ability to survive removal?

Don't think I wouldn't have used the slime if there was an external valve. That stuff is practically as useful as duct tape!

I kinda figured it was the valve. I just couldn't see how the bag itself could get a hole punched in it without some visible external damage.
