Why not?
I would guess you have a open wire between the rear end and the plug going into the PSOM on the back of the cluster. Just ohm out these two wires.
One of the plugs may have a pin in the wrong hole.
Is the PSOM plug even plugged into the back of the cluster?
Still no answer from rangergirl94 regarding power at fuse #18 in the cab while the truck is running.
If no power at fuse #18 and fuse is good, check engine compartment fuse # J and power at fuse # J.
Other than that, it could be a faulty ignition switch not powering the RABS and PSOM circuits.
I'm thinking the ribbon cable on the back of the PSOM is damaged or not inserted correctly/not fully seated, or one of the very fine wire pins in the female connector at the PSOM is bent or missing , That IS a pretty difficult area to work in.
Hey guys, i read the thread and you might be able to help me out. I have a cummins swap in my 2001 f250 the speedo was supposively working before the swap and now it's not. The indicator is over to 90 and when I drive it floats back to 70-75. I changed out the VSS sensor on the rear end. Didn't fix it. But my odometer works fine. Can you give some advice? I'm gonna check fuses right now. Thanks in advance!
