ok so i have my 94 f150.. 351 trickflow stage 1 cam ported gt40 heads trickflow r series upper n lower.. i have a 75mm throttle body.. i went to change the tps sensor the other day and the new one seems to be tighter then i think it should be so when i started it up and hit the gas it seems to make the throttle stick a lil...i gave it gas from under the hood and it doesnt seem to spring back like it should.. so i put the old one back on and it doesnt do it as bad but i have noticed the wear on the old one.. yes i bought the right one.. i think i just have a cheap throttle body as it has no name or part number at all... it was given to me when i bought the upper and lower intake... any ideas?
try reaming the holes in the tps a little an re-adjust the throttle blades to where theyre just slightly open when its fully closed.
is the tps voltage around .990 closed ?

There is absolutely no reason to ask that question or attempt to adjust the TPS to a specific voltage on these trucks. Anything between 0.6 -1.0VDC @closed throttle is fine. If the output is in between those values, leave it alone.
On another note many of the aftermarket sensors, including the TPS, are very suspect quality. Did the OP purchase a Ford/Motorcraft TPS? If not that is probably the cause of the throttle sticking.
rla, i know you know alot more then i do. what happened to my truck, the throttle body came in new with the blades closed to much and were slightly binding. i had to move the screw an re-set the tps. maybe op has the same problem ?

That is a very good point and observation. The throttle blades need to be just slightly open to prevent binding. If the blades are not binding without the TPS, then it may be a moot point.
Regardless, if you need to reset the throttle stop screw there should be no reason to adjust the TPS as long as it is in between the values listed above.
