changing my tps.
i finallly had the codes ran on my truck and the egr valve and throttle position sensor came up. i found the tps but its iin one heck of a spot. its like on the underside of the throttle body with two screws going straight up in the air and i dont really have neough room to get a screwdriver in there.
is there a trick to changing this big beast?

remove the throttle body or the upper intake, then you can change it on your work bench. If memory serves me right i think the TPS for V8's needs to be calibrated, the I6 come precalibrated. Sombody correct me if im wrong.

No calibration is required for any of them. The one caveat is making sure the closed throttle voltage is within specification. Many times someone in a previous life may have jacked around with the throttle stop screw. Moving that screw can make the closed voltage too low or too high.
The typical closed throttle voltage is in the .5 to 1.00 VDC range.
