I have a early 99 f250 4x4 and i have noticed that when the a/c is on my fan does not blow on the lowest setting but it works when i just have the vents on. All the other settings work fine. Anyone out there have this problem?
I forgot to mention that the resistor is just to the right of the blower motor and directly behind your Air conditioning Dryer as viewed from the passenger side with the hood open against the firewall. Carefully remove electrical connector from blower motor resistor and remove the two bolts holding it in. It is recommended to remove the negative cable from your battery to replace this item. I guess I really need to go to bed. Good evening.
[quote=1fixitman;12160163]Calrtonwebb is absolutely correct. I was very tired and meant to say Resistor instead of Switch.
It happens to everyone. I kind of figured that but did not want him to order the fan control switch in the cab in the meantime. That is nice description on how to find and replace it. I was tired too which is why I only posted as little as I did.
