Battery issue or something else??

Well during our rebuild of our 01 v10 Ex I have had to move it around in the yard a few times it has been hard to start a couple of times and would sputter not wanting to run. One time it wouldnt even start, it would turn over but wouldnt actually crank so thinking the battery I jumped it off with my other truck and it cranked right up and ran fine. A couple of times after that on various days it would either crank right up and idle fine (didnt have it on the road) and then the next time it wouldnt crank or either rough idle and die. Today went to move it and the starter just clicked and all the interior lights started flashing on and off so figured battery, jumped it off and it cranked right up and idled just as smooth but the ABS light was on constantly. After idling about half hour to charge the battery and then moving it around the back of the house to clean it, I went to move it up a few feet to keep from hooking up another water hose and it would crank but barely idled and died, would not run at all. So is this just a battery issue by not being charged long enough or could it be a fuel pump or injector issue, and dont have a clue why the ABS light was on since it hasnt been. Any ideas? Thanks guys.

Battery.

I would change your battery or pull yours and put it on a charger. (The alternator doesn't put much out at idle.) You should also check every connection & condition of the battery wires.

I was thinking possibly battery as we went on vacation the first of last month and had no issues whatsoever. We did have some battery issues right after we bought the excursion in june. The post clamps were almost broke in two and its a wonder it had even cranked so it probably hadnt gotten a full alternator charge in who knows how long. We put new terminal clamps on it but then a couple of weeks after that had to replace the whole ground wire as the wire kept coming loose from the clamp. Now that its been corrected the battery was probably weakened by not having a constant charge so it is probably shot. Just hadnt known of one to not want to idle after it was cranked. Well I guess cranked with a full 12 volts since jumping it off caused it to run fine.

Well after charging battery and still no start tried to jump it off again..no start. Took a gamble and bought a fuel pump and filter. Changed filter...nothing. No fuel coming out of line at koeo so put in new pump, bingo!!! My ABS light is still on though, gonna check sensor tomorrow.
