hello everyone, so i recently sold my 99 superduty, now i have a 91 f350 crew cab longbed w a 7.3. My question is i've been searching high and low for a 6-8" lift kit and i cant find any anywhere for my year. Can i put a lift kit on my 91 that originally goes on a 99-2004? are the leaf springs the same length? my alternate route is to buy custom leaf springs for 350 bux a pop, and probly blocks in the back.
hmm... im thinking it might be cheaper to buy two custom front leafs for 700bux, blocks in the rear 100 or i can make them, ubolts are cheap plus shocks and i'm looking at a cheaper price.
That's an interesting looking kit, too bad they don't appear to have better instructions. They may, I just didn't see them. I'm assuming you'd either need to block or put a 3" lift spring in the rear for this conversion.
well i believe with the 3 inch kit it levels off the truck, so maybe you just have to get the back up 2 inches of the 5 inch kit? more if you want the raked look? i just did a solid axle swap on my 250 5.8, and used the 7.3 springs, and it jacked the front up, but rides like crap. thats what i started looking at the kits. i think that with the right springs should help out my ride a lot. but there should be a lot of people with lifted trucks that can be a little more useful than i.
