Had a good day at the Brewery Arts Center today. I put about 28 peices in the kiln as I left today. Can't wait to see how they turn out. Several of them are commissioned so I will cover my costs at least.
Beautiful days on the mountain, seventies and eighties during the days and beautiful sunsets. Lots of clouds to make them even better!

Having fun with the neighbors.
Hope you are all doing as well.
Cheers!
Wow...Good to see you Bruce! Where have you been young man?
I missed you! We've lost most of our NV crew over the past few months. They just quit coming/posting to the board. Must be a summer thing!
Good to see you back.
Welcome to the wonderful world of Wacky Wednesday!
What Wacky things are you going to do today?
I don't know what I'm going to do , but since my mechanic is coming over to work on the Bayliner, maybe when he needs the water on for the engine...I'll cool him off with a water fight?! And then run like hell...
I am hoping that I can get away to the Brewery Arts Center again today. I put a number of glass pieces in the kiln to fire as I was leaving yesterday. Can't wait to see how they turned out.

HELLO DONNA ...HELLO ARE YOU THERE ???
I was afraid I got lost again ... DAMN ... I'm glad you found me I was scareded down here Dave
Hello neighbors to the east. Hope everyone had a wonderful Wednesday. Mine was interesting. had a appointment today at the VA hospital. Just routine lab work, however, when they found out I drank milk this morning to take my pill with, they said they can't do the lab work because the milk will mess up the readings.. Anyway, while there I learned two things about Nevada that I thought was interesting. Well, I would have learned 3 things but I can't remember the third one.
The first thing I learned was that 85% of the land is owned by the government.
The second thing I learned was that most the gold mined in the US comes from Nevada. (Which probably explains why the government owns 85% of the land).
The third thing would have been what Nevada means in Spanish, but I can't remember the answer.
Donna, I am glad your kids got home from school okay on their first day. I can only imagine what you were thinking when the bus did not show.
If I had a motorcycle I would trade with you, but I don't and I am not exactly right next door either.
Sunn, My best wishes to your mom and wish her a speedy recovery, time to return all that moms did for us as youngins !!!!
To all the FTE family's ... "Have a Nice Day " And be safe !!!
Thank you I appreciate it. It has a been a long journey. She got E. coli in 2009 and has never fully recovered from it. Have a couple questions. Actually more than a couple. It is more like a list of questions.
1. Anyone know any good diesel mechanics in the Henderson/Vegas area?
2. Anybody in the Henderson/Vegas area up for a BBQ, shooting, or some get together in September?
3. How do I join the chapter? I tried going through the whole process. Not sure if I need to do anything else.
4. I have a truck that I am trying to sell. Am I able to post that on the forum?
Thank you for all the help and hope all is well with everyone.

1) Arne is the man(only tech I let work on my diesel). His shop is called The Diesel Doctor, and he's in HD.
2) Depends on when. Weeknights are best for me.
3) Donna(67 Olfthfl) should see this and let you know what needs to be done.
4) You can post it in the classified section.
William_04_X, thanks for covering that for me ... I wouldn't have a clue about pick up diesel mech's in Vegas I don't get into Vegas much from here in Pahrump ... I wouldn't have been much help with that !!!
As far as "social activities in Vegas " the 120+ mi. trip to town can only be done once a month... "retirement pay sucks" Donna will guide him thru the steps just like she did for me !!! For selling a truck I don't have any idea how to do that .. I hope he gets squared away on that stuff... we could use more happy FTE'rs here Thanks again ... Dave
