I can't believe our luck! 
Yesterday, I traded the kids old bunk bed for a set of newer waterskis & then, we were told that someone had a boat/trailer with clear titles for sale "cheap" if we were interested. They gave our phone number to the owners of the boat and...
WOOHOO! Jimmy just called me & said that he just got done looking at the jet boat that we were told about. I guess the boat & trailer itself are in great shape, however, it has a blown motor. BUT... we can get it for a "SCREAMIN' DEAL!!!"
I'll tell you more about it & include pictures IF we get the boat tomorrow. I don't want to jinx it. Wish us luck!!!
I also couldv'e traded the Neon for a Kawasaki Ninja 250 lastnight, but I'm waiting to hear back from another guy that wants to trade his Ninja 750 for the Neon. Please say a prayer that the guy finds his title in storage so I can get the Ninja 750. I've been dealing with this guy for almost 3 weeks now & I think we're both getting a little impatient. He wants the car & I want the bike, but unless he has the title... forget it!

Happy Friday! Going to be another hot one, they are predicting 111 today. 
And I have several errands to run today (regarding medi-cal, and food stamps so I have to do them) so it is going to be a long hot day for me.

TGIF!!! There's so many things to do this weekend! Have fun, be safe & stay cool/hydrated!
We're probably doing Hot August Nights, a Tractor Show, going to the lake &/or BBQing with friends, & visiting with Jimmys mom & nephew. So we have a busy weekend planned! That's a good thing though. It keeps me outta trouble!

Well I checked NWS for the hottest place NOT to go ... and Furnace Creek Ca. wins it all ... some call it home 
!!! The daytime high for today is going to be 125*+ good news is it's not a record ... that's 134* ... glad I missed that one

Today starts the Bonneville speed week. I so hate that I do not have my truck ready for this. Time to pull some pans out of the fire and get my butt in gear. First step is to find a car trailer that can carry a full size 4-door with an 8 foot bed, and a body shop.

Congratulations Jeff! Keep up the good work!
I'm proud of you.It's very hard to quit. You've gotta be ready & want it or it's not gonna work! I quit 5 times before I finally stuck to it. The sad part is, it took my moms death to get me to totally stop & not want to go back to it. I've been tobacco free since New Years Eve 2005 & it feels good.

Selling the Ex and have to get a potential buyer some additional photos he is asking for...the Ex is up on the FTE classifieds if anyone is interested or knows anyone that is interested!
After the pictures we'll be headed to the in-laws to celebrate my FIL's 70th birthday.

Today is going to be a busy day for us. Well, atleast me. My MIL & Jimmys nephew are coming by this afternoon. They're heading to Lovelock to take him back home after spending the entire summer with G-ma. So, I get to clean the house & run a couple errands before they get here.
If anyone went to Hot August Nights, please post pictures!
We didn't get to go this year like I had hoped, but with money being tight & all...well, you know how that goes?!
