Over the course of the last week my '09 has become increasingly difficult to turn while at lower rpm. When going through a drive thru or backing out of the driveway it sometimes feels like there's no power steering. -especially when tuning right. Checked her out, nothing leaking, though the hi pressure steering line does appear to be wet near the connections. Rack boots appear a little damp too but are still in tact and fully functional. I had heard rumor there may be a TSB on this but wanted to see if anyone else knew abOut it before I ran to the dealer waving my arms. -because at 45k miles and 3 years I'm out of bumper to bumper...
I noticed the wet connections on my 09 before I got rid of it. Make sure it has plenty of fluid in it. Mine steering never got tight but the connections were like yours.
Yeah I noticed fluid was a little low about 6 months ago. Topped it off and has been fine ever sinse. -almost wandering I'd those "wet lines" let air into te system or something.
I'd say check the fluid again - if air gets into the P/S system, it'll usually bubble up to the reservoir. Less-than-expected boost from the P/S problem points to low fluid.
