When it fails, do you see the tach moving when you try to start it?
Hot CPS failure is not uncommon, on any vehicle so equipped. The CPS on the old Saturns is a _crank_ position sensor, and is famous for causing a stall, no-start when hot. Cool down, sensor returns to normal op, car starts, runs until a certain temp when the CPS fails again. Rinse, repeat.
Sorry did I did not reply sooner.
It was the CPS. I did have Tach movement when cranking over, so it was confusing on what caused problem.
For future reads by "searches".
1. engine shutting off, random, was able to restart
2. tach still showed rpms during cranking
3. towards the end, engine would only run for 10-15 min, then after cooling back down, would restart.
