Summit racing carbs?

Will this carb work on my 400 ?Summit Racing SUM-M08600VS - Summit Racing Street & Strip® Carburetors - Overview - SummitRacing.com. My engine has T Myer pistons, comp cam mild camshaft and a wieand intake. I don't have to much experience with carbs. Is this a good choice or should I stick with something a little more proven? Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks. Ps. The reason I like it is because of the price. Lol

I bought one for my 360FE but haven't installed it yet. It uses Holley parts and seems to be well thought out. There's a comparo running around on the web and the conclusion that it was a decent carb and a good value for the money. It's $235 through the end of August, IIRC. Oh, the instructional DVD is informative too.

A 600 cfm version will suit your 400 given the RPM range we operate our rigs.

Yes I did find some good feedback also. Every cfm calculator I've used recommends either a 600 or 650 so I think it should be big enough.
