I saw in lmc that for like 69 bucks, there is a thing that lowers your ceiling a few inches and has storage compartments. Idk how much it would be in the way though. I'm kinda tall so it wouldn't work for me.

My buddy has one of those in his 97 250HD and it seems to work ok for him to put a bunch of stuff on but it bounces a lot on bumps. I think I am going to mount a holster under the steering column, whether I use dual lock velcro or fasten it more permanently.

I keep mine IWB.

It's always best to keep the weapon on your person. Research the 1986 FBI shootout in Miami.

My GLOCK 23 fits nicely between the seat and the factory cup holder. Almost like FORD made it that way just for us gun people.

I was just thinking maybe you could make something work in that area. I have a glock 27 and it seems like it would fit. I have not looked into it but for me I dont ussally keep my guns anywhere but on me unless there a rifle or shotgun then there in the back or on the side of my seat.

Best bet is to keep it on your body in a position you can reach it while driving. If someone breaks in to steal your stereo, they just got your gun too. If you get in an accident or slam on the brakes the gun might not be where you left it. And you can't forget it when you get out of the truck.

Saw this on Planet Isuzoo Thursday.

I'm a lefty, so clipped inside the door pocket works for me.
