I'll have to admit, long (long) time ago when I pulled my first bed I about popped a gut trying to lift/slide it until I found those cursed clamps to the bed floor.
Hey, he's a fresh 17 year old ........ and he's trying so cut him some slack.
This parts truck I have now had the tightest bed bolts I've encountered. They weren't even rusty but my IR 1/2" impact would only break 3 of them loose. It took a pull bar with a 3 foot extension to move them. Spun them on off with the impact though.
i pulled my bed like a month ago. i was lucky enough to have a whole shop to work!! put the old girl on the lift and was only able to get 3 of 6 to spin off with the impact. the rest were a **** show lol. good thing i had no intentions of putting the same bed back on because the 3 bolts had to be cut(along with some of the bed lol). pulled it off with a fork lift and did it all over again with the donor truck. i would hate to have done that without a lift and forklift!
