Yep but my truck doesnt rise above normal,or do i have a stock egr to make it smoke white either.
I will test the pressure this week.
I guess will start hunting around for a good deisel shop who have alot of experience with these motors. I suppose i will be changing the head studs for better ones etc while its apart

Use OEM HeadGaskets and ARP Studs and should be good to go as long as heads are Fla and no cracks
I have coolant leaking from my cap, does this always mean a head gasket is leaking? I did change my cap for a STANT brand cap,so i'm hoping the STANT cap will not handle the pressure. My truck doesnt get hot, as it only leaked half litre over 2 month period.
I haul my 1.5 ton boat regular and if i take on a mountain i take it easy on the pedal usualy 2-2.25 rpm sustained and put my heater on hot to help out which i has helped keep other vehicles cooler at times.
I did expect to have problems with my head gaskets some day but not so soon after Oil cooler, stock EGR gasses blockoff done six week ago.
Maybe i should have just done head gaskets and got it out the way. Any ideas guys.
So here is how mine unfolded. I own a 2007 Ford F350 Harley Davidson. Been having issues with the vacuum system from 4WD to cooling/heating issues. I recently had my heater core changed out as my cab heat, well there was basically none while travelling home after work. The mechanic told me he had taken care of the air lock as I had mentioned to him before that another mechanic installed a wabasto cabin heater and didn't take care of the air lock and told me it was a head gasket issue. They quoted me $11,000 for that to repair the issue. Anyways after the heater core was changed, the heat was great for 1 whole day then I could tell that either the new blend door wasn't working or something else was off.. I was at work for the week so couldn't fix anything. I headed for home last night and on the way going up a steep incline on the highway , I could feel something give on the truck like something let loose or became unplugged. After I stopped I could see coolant all around the reservoir cap and thank god i could tell from the coolant imprint exactly where it came from. I was worried it was going to be the head gaskets. My truck never heated up at all but took along time for the truck to come up to tempureature. Coolant wasn't needing to be added either I went to the parts store and bought a new cap and tried it. No coolant was disappearing anywhere, and the heat in my 6.0 Litre diesel is unreal now. Learning experience and so thankful for people that have had the same experiences so I can read this stuff on the internet and fix my own truck.
