Have a 2004 F350 (Jan 2004 build date if this changes anything) as far as I can tell from the Oasis Report. The TCM, PCM, FICM where last flashed to latest calibration on May 2006 at 50k miles. I was wondering if anyone knew how often these are updated. Should I bother paying to reflash it.... or was 2006 the latest and greatest TCM config? Thanks in advance for the help

Ok I will bite. How do you tell what flash is in the computer. Does you scan guage let you know or are you running edge or some other computer.
Well, there are some tuners that will show you. Some scan tools will also. I stumbled on mine via the Torque APP. Android based app that a person also needs bluetooth OBD2 adapter.
Scangauge II does not. Not sure about the Edge products.
Now, I need the TCM calibration to get a roll back. This has been difficult to get. I'm not going to buy a $300 tuner just to read this, or so I thought. I have been to many auto parts houses to see if their scan tool can do this for me.
Each one has looked at me with the "Deer in the headlights" look. Trying to explain what I'm wanting and they just stare at me. I even stopped at a "Truck Performance" shop. Same thing, stunned. They even sell Superchips and Edge Insight equipment. Still no joy.
Sounds cool. Unforetunately while I spent a lot of money on my phone it isn't android based... Actually it isn't smart at all It is damn near water proof though I am assuming when you say a android based app and a blue tooth obd2 adaptor (no idea where to get that either but it sounds cool) that we are talking smart phones here.
Edge Insight CTS will read PCM and TCM calibration, but not FICM.

Have you talked to Bill or Corey at PHP? When he did my remote rollback, after I installed the FICM tune, he reconfigured the programmer they sent me, picked up my calibration info and sent it back to him through their program, then he sent me back a modified strategy to reload. They might not need your TCM strategy on the order form, you could ask. You could always just go to a dealer and get reflashed for ~$80, and have them tell you what they're putting in it.

That is what I will probably do. I was sorta hoping Mchan or cheezit would chime in and tell me they (FORD) have not released new coding for your truck since 2005 so if your truck was flashed in 2006 you are gtg.
