1971 F100 Sport Custom 2wd 302 C4 automatic std brakes std steering
I want to convert from manual to power steering.
Does anyone have a complete list of the parts needed.
Thanks
Don't forget the cowl bracket, inside and outside parts. And another good thing to keep in mind is that Ford changed the length of the column and shafts many times from 67-72. Numberdummy correct me here but I think there might be a one year only shaft length around 1971. I've done a few but it's been several years and I always remember having to go through a few columns to get all the right parts.
On my old 72 300, I used the later style plastic pump because I could still get those brackets new from Ford and the 300 bracket for the old style pump was near impossible to find at that time, in that town. Only problem was you couldn't flush seat the pulley or it wouldn't line up, always had to pull it out on the shaft about 3/8"
