That's good to hear as I am contemplating another set of Timbrens, and since your 3/4 ton and my dually seem to share the same size rear blocks, maybe I too won't experience the kick in the butt after shock.

We are missing something here regarding these blocks. And that is spring rate. A dually, while still may have same amount if leafs also has higher spring rate, different frame and two tires per axle. Thus it may not need additional leafs.[/QUOTE]
I'm not looking to add additional leafs. My concern with the Timbrens is not their ability to help carry a load or stabilize a load. For that, they do a wonderful job. My interest is the unloaded ride. The distance from the Timbren rubber spring to the bump stop when the truck is unloaded is what I am trying to determine. If it is too close, I suspect I would encounter the "kick in the butt" I refer to after hitting a small bump.
I have always been pleased with the performance of the Timbrens. They are a good alternative to air bags, in my opinion.
