Questions

I have the factory in bed 5th wheel prep in my 6.7 and I like tow a goose neck horse trailer. In the bed, I see a capped center cut out, I assume that's where the ball goes in to, however, looking down that hole I don't see any threads for the ball to screw in. Am I missing something? Is there another part that goes in that hole before I can screw in a ball? If so, where can get the part? Thanks in advance.

You answered you own question I see. Yes if you look close, there is a channel along the inside rim of the hole. You do need a Reese Elite gooseneck ball. Here is a link to just the ball.

Replacement Ball for Reese Elite Series and Factory Ford (2011) Gooseneck Hitches - 2-5/16" Reese ***** RP19311

And here is the kit with the pucks for your safety chains, and a fancy little bag to store it all in.

Reese Elite Series Pop-In Ball Kit for 2011 and Newer Ford Super Duty Under-Bed Gooseneck Hitch Reese ***** RP30137
