Front window chrome

Hi, i just finished replacing my front window on my 76 and i took the chrome off without bending it but now i have the window installed but cant seem to get the chrome back on can anyone help??? anything would be appreciated

I its the ide chrome trim which is about eh close to an 1" wide, i think you are supposed to install it in the gasket before you put the window in....

I did put the chrome of the window before installation too haha but most of it fell apart

When you say "front window" are you speaking of the windshield?

If so, your truck has stainless steel (not chrome) windshield reveal mouldings. These fit into a groove of the windshield weatherstrip (D3TZ-1003110-E).

The mouldings are inserted into the weatherstrip first .. then the windshield is installed.

There is no way to install these mouldings after the windshield is installed.

1973/76: There are two different weatherstrips. The weatherstrip used without the mouldings (D3TZ-1003110-F) does not have a groove.
