Motorcraft Cetane Boost, I do notice a difference in sound since i've been using it.

How often should one use the additives? Every tank or every few etc..?

I noticed a huge difference running Stanadyne Performance Formula and switching to Amsoil API Cj-4 5w40 synthetic. The truck seems to run a lot quieter, start easier and it has a bit more get-up-and-go off the line as well as when passing on the highway. It took probably 2 fills in a row of the fuel additive but I try to add it now every second fill-up.

I use the Motorcraft cetane boost. Regular formula only for me,it doesn't get cold enough here in Va. to need the winter stuff. I too notice a difference in sound with the cetane boost. Quicker starts as well it seems.
