From the few pics I have seen the bulldog chip looks like it could be a ts style chip? Someone else here should know more. I have been wondering for a while if they are the same switcher and chip, only difference is who programs it?

What makes you say that? Every single time I've upgraded I've either given away my old hardware or sold it at an extremely reduce cost.
Brendan if it's a TS style 4 bank almost anybody can reburn it. You'll have to call around and see who is willing.

I'm not a fan of the mass-market tuners and I was unaware the Bully Dog is a TS, so my post should be disregarded as an uninformed opinion. My sincere apologies for getting all uppity.
Tony Wildman programs TS, as does Beans. PHP stopped reprogramming other TS chips. I hope that's more constructive than my last post.
