05 F250 Door Lock Problems
Okay I'll begin by saying that I have looked all over this site and thought I found the remedy for my problem but after getting my truck back from the local Ford dealer today I am at a loss.
A while back I was trying to find the wire that runs the back up lights so I could wire in a switch to have work lights on my flat bad. After doing so I ended up with no power door locks through either door switch, keyless entry outside the door, and with the key fob. After my initial research I believed that I had fried the VSM. I ordered one, put it in last week, had it programmed today at the ford dealer and no power door locks. I've done a little prodding around and have constant power to my DS door lock actuator. I haven't done anything down on the VSM today as I wanted to gather some input. The service manager at ford said he thought that I had a broken wire. I do hear a click coming from the VSM whenever any of the lock/unlock buttons are pushed. I have check all the fuses and they are all good. Needing some direction here.
