v10 missing still (1999)
i have changed all the plugs,.i have changed all the injectors,.i changed 4 cop's (the rest were good, these were only weak) ,.the engine has a miss.,it loses power on hills,.it now after the service that put in the cop's has a tick sound ,.like a valve tap,.i'm told its not a valve tap its a broken exhaust stud ?? no..its the MFS it needs replaced,.no its the cam sensor,ITS NOT A BROKE STUD ITS A STUCK LIFTER,.WTF,.i'm tired of throwing money at this ,.what is it really,.help me Gunner

put 5w20 semi synthetic motorcraft in it, and add a bottle of rislone. Put some chevron techron fuel system cleaner in it and run it for a while. I do this to 200k mile v10s in our fleet and it makes em sound new again. Thick oil in our tritons makes em cranky... If it still ticking then add a quart of atf, that frees up the slack adjusters pretty well.
