trim pkg info

Did Ford make a custom trim pkg on the 1993 f 250. If so what is it? I can't seem to find any info on the different trims thanks

I believe they did. My dads got an either 88 or 89 F250 "Custom". I think its just a fancy way to say XL... Its got vinyl seats and a vinyl floor, but its also got an HD package (I think... seems a lot heavier duty than my 92 XLT). Not sure of the specifics though

Custom was below XL. According to wikipedia the custom trim level was dropped after '88

The "Custom" trim level was just that, custom. People started with a blank sheet, and had to check every option they wanted in the truck. People think is below XL because it was real popular with fleets, then they could order trucks for example with AC, but without a radio

This makes sense with my Dads truck. Its got the bone stock interior, but HD suspension and 4WD of course. It was built as a plow truck with a plow on the front and a salt spreader in the bed. Why cant you do this kinda stuff now-a-days lol

I had a 92 F150 company work truck that was a Custom. Cloth bench seat, no carpet, 300 with 4 spd auto, crank windows, AM/FM basic radio. It did have dual tanks and the handling package.
