trim pkg?
can any one look at my pics and tell what trim pkg I have? (if any!?)
I do not have the chrome piece down the side or the dash pad (or inserts for doors for that matter - think they were lost though) Also does the instrument cluster tell you anything, how about the tail gate?

Your truck is a good basic version, no trim, no special order options.
There were a number of trim options, but the only one which had a name was Custom Cab.
Some trucks came without the CC name, but had various levels of CC trim; some had the CC name but less trim, so who knows what Ford did to market the trim options.
Be sure to contact my friend in Monroe; he can help you out with parts if you want to upgrade yours.
But I would leave it as it came from the factory, if the truck was mine!

Thanks for the info. I know what you mean, I'm gonna keep it as original as possible. I'll give your buddy a call right now. As far as keeping it original - would it be ideal to get this engine rebuilt or just buy and newer one with less problems? I guess I should figure out it this is the original block or not first.
