1961/64 292: The negative battery cable was grounded to the R/exhaust manifold.
379651-S7-8 .. Stud-Exhaust Manifold to Cylinder Head / 3/8" -16 -16 x 3 21/64" hex shoulder.
When the manifold was removed, some people removed the stud, replaced it with a bolt, then usually grounded the cable under the bolt.
But I've seen some cobbled up disasters where people installed a loooong negative cable, drilled a hole in the r/frame rail, then looped it around the firewall mounted tray, then grounded it to the frame.
