Battery cable, non-standard-Where to get? F600
I need a new battery cable, negative side, on my 1973 F600 Grain Truck, 361
It’s connected to a bolt in the side of the engine. When I went to connect a new battery cable, the hole in the cable isn’t big enough. The bolt is larger than the standard end nowadays.
What would you recommend? Does anyone know where I can get a negative battery cable, with a larger than usual end?
Or what is the Ford part number, so I can try to buy it?
Or should i use a standard cable and connect it to somewhere else on the engine? If so, what other location on the engine should i connect the end of the battery cable?
Thank you!

There are a couple vendors on that auction site that make up battery cables in any length you want, whatever type of terminations wanted and the rest of it using AWG pure copper strand in any diameter up to 0000. Price is very reasonable and not all that much more than the "drug store" battery cables in the blister pacs. Generic or universal replacement battery cables are usually trash, have crappy terminals and thin cable with extra thick insulation that make them look larger than they are.

Thanks to Bill for looking up the part number for me, thanks to Ted and NoFrod for the info that I could have it made.
After asking a couple of places, and then deciding maybe an “automotive stud” would be a better choice, but not being able to find it either, I found a parts place that could cut the end off a standard cable, and solder on a different one. They had the larger end that I needed, they put the larger end on and the cable worked for me! Although I should have gotten the longer size.
Thank you for the help!

I make all of my own battery cables..
Welding cable in a gauge applicable to use... my lawn tractor doesnt need what my F600 service truck does
Military grade heat shrink
Solder on battery ends (uses a solder pellet)
Crimp on lugs to soldered ends
..Yes,,, I did opt for the 150 dollar commercial crimper..but you can buy the 15.00 cheapie that uses a small sledge... the commerical crimper makes a factory style four point square crimp.. the cheapie makes a single point crimp.. they both work fine
I make a lot of cables.. that are superior to what can be purchased
