Negative battery cable location

59 292, just wondering where the negative battery cable originally connected. Mine was on a hood hinge bolt and it seems it should be to the engine. I have the original ground strap from the back of the left head to the firewall. thanks

Those bean counters considered copper wire to be like gold, apparently.

Mine was from the - cable to one of the battery tray bolts, and eng. groundstrap on the right upper bellhousing to block bolt onto the bottom pinchweld area of the firewall,
of coarse that was back when i was still running the original 223
