I personally am offended by this. We shouldn't be making fun of vehicularly-challenged people. It's not their fault they're Chevy drivers....they simply don't know any better....
i think ford is shooting themselves in the foot by ceasing production of these vehicles,,, especially the ranger. i loved those trucks. as did many and many more!
whats uhaul gonna use if the E-Series is killed off?
crown vic isnt so bad i guess cuz the taurus can fill that spot..
but how many more are they gonna cut out?
It's not really a joke but it still makes me laugh when I see a new Chevy 4x4 pickup with the the "Z71 Off Road" decal on the bedside. Those "trucks" have I don't know, 6" or 7" of ground clearance... maybe. What kind of off roading could you do in something like that? And yet people still think they're something great, sorry I just don't see it.
John
ive never been particularly biased one way or the other. Had many good Chevys (Mostly all SB 350). Where I take issue is with some of GMs satellite companies and their absolutely retarded engineering decisions. Never had more problems with a vehicle than the 2 Buicks my family has owned over the years. It's like the mission at Olds/Pontiac/Buick was to modify a straightforward engineering concept until it was as close to broken as possible and then putting a luxury markup sticker on it.
Other than that, I really enjoyed both my 69 and 70 3/4ton trucks. Chevy ruined their pickups starting in 73 and didn't start building quality pickups again until 2002 or so.
