Ill check them tomorrow. The alternater is new but my buddy got his the sameday i got mine and his **** the bed yesterday. Is it worth getting a tune on the ficm when it goes out?
ok thanks. any reason y it would just die overnight?
ford build a sensing module into it... there are sensing pads built into
the steering wheel that measure sweaty palms.... first, a timer sets a
30 second crank.... then it measures your sweaty palm index, a pressure
transducer in the drivers seat measures the thickness of your wallet,
and if your palms are sweaty and your wallet is thin, the sensing module
sets a code P0sux2bU, and that causes the ficm to self destruct.
that's probably what happened. never flinch when you crank the engine.
it can sense fear.
the ficm module has me so cowed, i spent $570 on a sacrificial alternator
offering to appease it. if that doesn't work, i'm considering a blood sacrifice.
anyone know where i can get a hold of the engineer who designed this?
his blood will do fine.
