sunday morning i went to start my truck with my remote start and the truck didnt start. went to turn it on with the key and i didnt hear the injectors clicking. the truck cranks but wont start. thought it was my tune so i returned to stock then pulled the battery cables hoping that fixed it. it didnt. check the ficm with a volt meter at both koeo and cranking got less than 1 volt both times. the truck ran fine sat and sat night. could the ficm be dead? can it die over night like that? anyway to prove its broken before i pay to have it repaired and it didnt need it?
Ive had mine go out twice now & per cheezeit with out the injector clatter it could be. Check the tec folder for checking output voltage on your ficm when off & when cranking.
something is wrong becasue you should also see either 12v or 48v on the pins. if none of the pins have 12v you need to figure out why you have no B+ to the unit.
If this is the case check powers and grounds at the relay and fuse f2-22
i dint find a blown fuse. ficm main volts started at 40 and dropped out the longer the koeo until it hit 0. ficm vehicle power was 10. i couldnt get the ficm logic power to com eup on my scangauge. any thoughts?
