Hi all. I'm new here. First post so I apologize. I have a '13 f350. 6.7. 4x4 auto. 108,000 miles. I've been driving my truck with no problems. I went to start it Monday morning, tried the remote start. And nothing. Went out to my truck and it said it was updating. I have the sync system w/ 1 touch ignition. So I tried to manually start with the key, still nothing. I checked the voltage and one battery said 12.4. They were factory batteries so they needed to be replaced anyways. I put in new 850cca mtp65 interstate batteries. Checked voltage un hooked. 12.6v each. Cleaned all the terminals before install. Tightened the cables. Still nothing. 1 click but not turning over or anything. I checked the fuse 89 40a. Seems fine. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
I looked thru 20 pages of the 6.7 threads but didnt find what might help me. So I apologize if it is a repeated post.
I put both batteries on a charger. Charged to 12.8v. When I try to start it, it clicks once, then nothing. No check engine light or anything. It's got me stumped.
Chad, this is a problem that I have been chasing for MONTHS on my truck, and one other guy on here as well. I have checked all the obvious things, connections, batteries, relays, wiring, and I've had my truck in the shop twice, once for over a week, and they couldn't re-create the issue. Please report back if you figure out what the problem is on yours, it sounds exactly like my issues!
The wait swirl, as I like to call it does come on.
I have let the truck roll back, and cycle thru the gears. No change. But I appriciate the idea. I will try the fuel cutoff. I have not tried that yet.
come to think about it... After I changed my batteries, it gave me the fuel light and said my tank was empty. I knew I had over a 1/4 tank in there. But I went and got 6 more gallons and added to it. Now it is reading 1/2 a tank.
I was having problems with my 2013 truck last week starting.Torque Pro was telling me that the PCM voltage was 10.5 volts. Checked the battery voltage on the corroded battery posts and got 12.4 volts and less then 12 volts on the terminals. Clean all terminals and charged. Truck has been stariting all week in the cold. I believe that the computer won't let the truck start under 12 volts.

I just put new batteries in and the terminals are clean and tight.
Chad, every time my truck has done this, it has cured itself after 30-45 minutes, and started right up. No clue yet what is causing it. All of my connections are clean, and secured, including battery, starter, and alternator. Very frustrating issue!
