EGR valve=$230?

I was on vacation last year and needed one, bought from a local dealer where I was, yep, $230.
Didn't want to know, but found what loubell is showing. Oh well! vacation was still fun!

It's more like buy one on Ebay now for $140 and leave it in the truck until the EGR valve fail, or wait until broke paid $230 at the nearest dealer.
Then again, if I buy that as a spare, why don't I go ahead and buy the ICP, IPR also
Hell just tow the tool box along everytime I go on vacation
I need to stop reading posts on this forum, pretty soon I don't want to take my Excursion anywhere longer than 100 miles afraid that it will break down suddently (since my AAA card only cover up to 100 miles)

Thanks guys, due to hurrying off on a long road trip, I didn't get on here first to learn where the good deals are...but I am glad I got the new one. It was time to clean the valve anyway so I went with new. It had been about 25k miles, too long, it was much dirtier than last go round.
Thanks again from South Dakota en route to North Dakota, 5 states so far and counting. I am in the RV with the V10, which is doing fine.
