Hi everyone, does anyone know if you can move a tranfer case shifter into another place- say to the right or some other place. I would like to put in a hurst quarter stick if i can. Also while im at it i would like to put a e- brake [pull style] there if i can. I have a bench seat that i need to keep so i can take my granddaughter {7 years old right now} with us as well. Alot to ask for sure but im hoping it can be done with some help from peoples with more smarts in this area than i have . Can the t-case shift be modified to be cable operated? 80- f150/ 351m/ c6/ t-case? Hurst is cable operated.
Pretty sure that will Not work being the t-case on a chevy is passenger side driven
yeah I'm not sure either...haven't modified any 4x4 stuff before to be honest. But in that thread, he was stating you can hook up a B&M cable and put the shifter anywhere you want. So it sounded pretty universal of a solution, regardless of what side the TC was mounted on.
