Engine sound cutting out
I recently bought a 200009 f250 7.3 powerstroke with a 6 speed and i dont know if its a prolbem or not but when i letf off the throttle the enginge cuts out to where i cant hear it anymore but if i press on the throttle it kick back on and runs fine it dosent jerk or spit and spudder. And when i go down a hill about 10 mph the enging cuts in and out like i can hear it for a few seconds then i cant hear it and keeps doing thar till i press on the throttle again and then it stops doing it . Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

What chip did it come with? Is it a chip on the PCM or is it from a tuner like Superchip?

You can look at the PCM on the drivers side kick panel in front of the e-brake to see if you have a chip. If you have a chip, you can take it off and you should be back to stock. If you had a tuner like Superchips install a tune, you will need to find that same tuner to put your truck back to stock tune. If not, you will need to have the PCM reflashed to what your stock tune is.
