factory ford?
i picked up a 78 bronco steering columm from the junk yard and it had a three spoke wheel with a horse head horn button emblem, i liked it and cleaned it up and put it in truck. was looking on ebay at parts and found the button for sale the guy said it was a nos ford button. any one ever seen one like this? the part num. is D70Z-3649. I have a pic but am computer illiterate so not sure how to add if any one has a suggestion it would be greatly appreciated also.

D7OZ-3600-A .. 3 Spoke "Sport" Steering Wheel-Leather Wrapped.
D7OZ-3600-B .. 3 Spoke "Sport" Steering Wheel-Soft Foam Wrapped.
Optional: 1977/79 F100/350 & Econoline / 1978/79 Bronco // 1977 Maverick/Comet // 1977/78 Mustang II // 1977/79: LTD II (not an LTD!)/Ranchero/Cougar/Thunderbird/Continental Mark V & Versailles/Granada/Monarch/LPinto/Bobcat.
1979/80 Mustang/Capri // 1980 Granada/Monarch/Lincoln Versailles/Pinto/Bobcat.
There were 8 different horn buttons, for examples: D7OZ-3649-B .. Wreath with 3/Lions / D8TZ-3649-A .. Blue Oval.
If people wanted speed control, it was only available dealer installed. The Speed Control switch assy attached to the turn signal handle.
HOODRAT: Does this Bronco column you bought have a tilt steering wheel...or not? You know how the tilt wheel operates, doncha?
Hold the steering wheel with right hand, use the left hand to gently press the turn signal handle forward. If it has tilt: BOING!!

i wish it did. most of my past trucks had it. funny you say that tho, i have also shown a couple of buddies the tilt, they have had their trucks a long time and did not know it. kinda like how you have to down shift a cruise-a-matic to make it hold second gear. the indicator only shows; P r od d 1, no mark for 2.
