239 Flathead - what 4spd, synched trannys will bolt straight on??
I currently have a 239 flathead in my 49' F3. What transmissions will bolt onto it with minimal work? I want to keep the 4 spd on the floor setup, just to have one that is synchronized!

Advanced Search is your friend... many threads about the alternatives. If your F-3 has a big "hoop" type crossmember, almost anything will physically fit without cutting, just a matter of connecting it to the bellhousing and fabbing a new trans support.
