Agree with this. A good battery at full charge should not put much load on the alternator.

So how do you do a load test on TE battery?

Don't understand the "TE" part, but any auto parts store can load test a battery. It has to be fully charged to test, so they may have to charge first if it's down.

A warn pulley can cause squeals also as the inner sides touch the pulley gets a mirror glaze and the belt not grabbing hold when unload. I had this problem until, I re-dressed the v-grove on my high speed wire wheel/grinder braking the glaze was a fix for me. I did all pulleys when doing the harden seat valve job back in 1995. A glazed belt will slip, The wrong size belt not fitting correctly into the v-pulley. Or like O/P said a lose belt. A Lot of guys don't know how much to tighten a belt is mostly the problem too..
