You'll need to recalibrate the speedometer as well. I'd say no more than 33"

33" will fit with the 2" lift but I don't think the rims your hoping to put on will work for ya tho. The offset will be way off and the tires will rub on the radius arms before they are fully turned.
Do u have a pic of the rims?

But recalibrating the speedo is easy to do.

An explorer will have a 5x4.5 bolt pattern and a smaller hub center. The f150 will be 5x5.5 I believe

i know for sure that they do.. from factory atleast. one of the reasons why exploder axels are popular with jeepers. same lug, disks, stronger direct bolt in and onle about 1" wider then the dana35.

now my 4x4 came with what i beleive are factory xlt aluminum wheels. 35" mud terrains with only 3" body lift. there were sings of rubbing on the frame but the tires didnt have much tread when i got the truck. if you are looking for a mud tire id check out the superswamper tsl skinnys. theye are 34" tall and narrow.
Narrow S.S. | Interco Tire

in my 2wd i had baja claws 31x12.5 and they rubbed but those were 2wd springs on factory 7" stealies. alot of it is the back spacing in the wheels you choose. but a little height doesnt hurt.
