Tire Size Question

I have not posted in months really, but I have a question about tire size, I have a 79 f150 2wd, and right now I have my 235/75/15's on it, but I can get some nice rims 15's with 35/12.5's/15 and they have about 50% tread on them and I am not too worried about the tread because I am more wanting the rims, actually would rims that have 12.5's on them even fit another 235/75 on them? but anyhow can I fit 35's on my stock 2wd 150? or is that a negative?

yeah that is what I was figuring to hear lol I was pretty sure 32/33 was max. I am trying to just find 15" 5.5 lug ford rims and I am not having much luck on craigslist lol. I dont want to spend a bundle because it is merely temporary. I have a set of P235/75/15 studded and a set of LT235/75/15 not studded and I only have one set of rims, it doesnt need to be much fancy just something to get by...oh well I'll continue to search thanks!

Keep in mind that Scout and Jeep also used 5 on 5.5" rims, possibly you should broaden your search parameters a little on craigslist,and with any luck you will find some cheap rims.
