For the entire assembly , remove the door panel ,Roll the window down, there will be 2 11 MM head bolts top & bottom of the part, . 2/ 7 mm screws under the front top door W/S .. Remove assembly
Just swap the whole assembly. It's a piece of cake. I can do them in about 5 minutes after having swapped a couple. Like Rick said, there are two screws that go through from the top of the door frame and if you remove the door panel there is a bolt (mine just have one) that goes through the door and into the bottom of the window track. Then you pull the whole thing toward the open window area twist it to one side or the other and work it out of the door. It's really pretty simple. It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be the first time I tried it.
If you do end up getting the glass out of it though, be sure to post up how you did it. I wouldn't mind being able to do that as well. I swapped a couple around because the frames were getting rusty, but I would like to keep the tinted glass that is in the rusted frames. My guess is that the heat gun would soften the adhesive that holds the glass in the frame but it would probably also ruin the tint on my glass, so it may not work for me this time, but still. I'd like to know how...
