HOW to take out window
This job is a real PITA! Are you really sure? OKAY! Remove the access panel, roll the window down and remove the roller and clip, let the glass sit in the bottom of the door and wind the window mechanisim up all the way. Remove all the screws from the vent window and division bar. Don't forget the one under the rubber molding at the bottom rear of the vent window. Tilt the division bar/vent window towards the rear of the door, (moving the window channel inside the door forward), reach in and raise the glass up and pull the bottom out of the door, lower it until it clears. Besides rusted glass channels, ruined rollers, rotten vent window gaskets, busted vent window pivots, rotten and or missing window channel, stripped and ruined retainer screws this is a piece of cake! Unless you have restored the hardware for the door, I'd recommend tinting the glass without removing it.
