Window run replacement

OK we just about have the 75 ready for the road. Just recovered the seats and new carpet. Close the drivers door last night and hear something fall in the door. Pull the panel and see half of the run laying in the bottom of the door. Plus the window popped off track. Figure I will go ahead and replace both front and back runs on both sides. My question is whats the easy way to get the window back on the track ? And is there any trick or easy way to replacing the runs ?

I work at a glass shop and the only way to replace the run is to remove the vent window assembly and move the glass forward on its track to give you room to push the new run into place, also leave the top free so you can reinstall the vent window, this works on the front wondows, I've never worked on a four door so the back window are a complete mystery to me???

Hope this helps.
