Ok i got some new Harley Headlights & i love the look but i dont like my oem chrome grille w/them, besides iam slowly replacing all chrome stuff.

Iam attaching 4 pic's...1st is my truck w/new lights & oem chrome grille, the other 3 are doctored images to help me decide which grille to buy (Harley version or a oem all black).




* Here's the Final decision installed (i deleted the other pic's i had here) I think the Black Grille w/Billet inserts really pop...Thx everyone

 

My truck is white with brown two tone, i was in the same pickle as you when i bought my harley headlights. I bought a new black grille and it didnt look right, so i ended up sanding my chrome one and painting it white. It looks awesome, also have a black ford emblem

I would go with the all black and maybe even powder coat that bullbar.

 

the all black oem version is still the best. firstly, u still stay within the same original style of our six-o's. secondly, u wanna take it up a notch but not too much. lol.

 

I like the all black with the tan honey cone it may be a bit to much but it gives it a bold and a all muscle look

 

Nice hood, never seen that before.
As far as grill I am a fan of the chrome billet with the Ford emblem dead center. lol

 

I'm planning on painting mine eventually and leaving it black behind like this pic I found (not sure who's truck it is...)

 

take a look at RBP grilles. I love mine and my truck has harley headlights from factory.

"17fordguy" eventually iam droppin factory bumpers & that Bully-Bar to install some "off road/winch" style bumpers (probaly Fusion brand) which i will powder coat Tan to match the bottom color of my rig

Anybody close to Charlotte, NC that would trade a Black oem for a Chrome oem

I dont want to buy a new grille & inserts too, so i may look for a nice used black oem but if that dont work out in a day or 2 i think ill order new...

 

Iam positive now this new 4th option is how iam going (will post pic after new Grille & Inserts arrive)
Waiting to order till tomorrow in case someone has a black grille to trade for my chrome one & if not ill buy grille & inserts new. Just have to do quick cause were goin on vacation very soon.

I must say iam very pleased w/the new look the Black headlights & Grille give the truck. Iam also proud of myself for puttin the Billet inserts in the grille (great idea)
Iam still curious as how the "Harley" version would've looked but the oem style won over BIG on here & with my friends/family. I must say everyone helped me make a great decision (i was initially ordering the Harley grille & then started askin opinions) so Thanks everyone !!!
Now to rid the truck of the oem bumpers & add some beefy "off road" style (probaly Fusion brand) in a Black powdercoat finish
