Gotcha. Seeing as the pics loaded this time i have some bad news for ya. A: you went through alot more work than you needed to, and B: your heater isnt going to work for beans with that in there even with the valves open. Just a valve in either line (preferably the supply but dont really matter) would have done what you wanted. With that bypass in there the antifreeze will take the path of least resistance, which i can assure you is not through the heater core. Does look nice though.

the proper way to do it is a valve on the supply side, and another valve on the bypass.
with supply open and bypass closed the coolant goes through the core. with the supply side closed and bypass open, core is bypassed.
as you have it now, you will have very little heat due to the bypass always being open.
