6.2 and a pedal commander 2011 up

I got a pedal commander for Xmas. Tried it in my 2011 6.2 and it freaked out my ECM. No response with the pedal. Had to disconnect and clear the codes for the truck to run right again. Not sure if I got a bad one or what. Anybody using one of these on their 2011 up 6.2? Scared to try it on my 2015 6.7.

A lot of people have used them and not had a problem. I think you may have just got a bad one. It's important to note, and you may know, they don't add any power, just make the peddle more sensitive to input. A lot of people like this. There have been a couple people on here that didn't, one even put his up for sale.

I got one; does what it is advertised to do perfectly. I'll be putting it on the for sale board when I get my tuner in 20,000 miles.

I am the one that bought one and sold it. I couldn't get the thought out of my head of it possibly having a malfunction while towing and going full throttle or losing all throttle. Worked as advertised during the time I had it installed.

Well I plugged it into my 2015 6.7 and it works as it should. Couldn't test it on the road because of a diesel engine in the bed that I haven't unloaded. Watching the differences in response on the tach on different settings surprised me. It does more than I thought it would.

No, but now that I know the unit isn't defective I'm sure I will try it in my 6.2 truck again.

Lots of issues with the pedal commander including sudden uncontrolled acel....IMHO, would not use anything like that on my vehicle.

the bank's is the only one that i would use since it is not just pulling power from the throttle. I had issues with the pedal commander as well. i used the the bank's pedal commander and havent had any issues.

Put the pedal commander on my 15 f350 7 years ago. It’s been great. No problems
