OK here was an interesting twist, flushed the radiator again (mainly because i had the stuff) truck would not turn over for an hour. its like it knows there was no anti freeze in it) shot a little starting in her got the temp up enough to open the T-stat and bam shes running perfect again. What am i missing that causes this condition?

What do you mean turbo sounds diffrent????
I lost alittle whistle on mine with the EGR deleate but turbo sound didnt change
what Egr deleate was it???
Could be a exhaust leak especialy if the sound is diffrent/louder right at the turbo
another thing to check is the clamps on the CAC Boots they can make noise if slight leak
