I just bought and old 1950 F1 (Canadian made F47) to restore, she is in rough shape but I am looking forward to fixing it up. I figured it would be a good idea to join the forums seeing as there seems to be a wealth of knowledge about restoration since I don't have a lot of it myself. I am not 100% sure yet on the route I want to go pertaining to restoration or hot rodding the truck, I want to keep the body original and I would like to keep the Flat Head engine as well (if it runs ) but other than that I am open to adding extras. I mainly want to fix is up as a nice cruiser and perhaps to show in the car shows in the area.
I look forward to chatting with you all, and hearing your advice on the process, its gonna take a lot of work and time but seeing what these trucks can look like fixed up is great motivation.
